- Enter your final grade or an estimate.
- For a term average, write “grade credits” on each line.
Frequently asked questions
How is the midterm/final average calculated?
Midterm × its weight + final × its weight. 60 midterm (40%) and 70 final (60%) gives 60 × 0.4 + 70 × 0.6 = 66.
What final grade do I need to pass?
(passing grade − midterm × midterm weight) ÷ final weight. The tool works this out and tells you if you already pass.
What is a weighted average?
Multiply each grade by its credits and divide by total credits. A high-credit course affects the average more.
Can I use it for a 4.0 scale?
Yes. Enter the numeric value of each letter grade (for example A = 4.00) and the weighted average comes out on the 4.0 scale.
